Our basic subject is the brand – the key player in the 21st century business arena. Knowledge about brands is not something that only a brand expert should have. It also represents key knowledge for executives, managers and entrepreneurs. The more business people understand brands, their philosophy and mission, the better the business they can deliver. Therefore, our school covers a wide range of topics suiting different levels and contents of brand knowledge & skills.
Different topics from all brand business areas are delivered by our group of international lecturers. All of them are renowned experts with broad knowledge and years of experience.
The four-module course comprises lectures, seminar work, games and quizzes. We work individually, in pairs and in groups. We deliver brand know-how and skills for problem-solving and searching for new solutions.
Every module begins on Saturday afternoon and ends on the next Friday with an exam and in the evening with a diploma awards ceremony. From Sunday to Thursday we have lessons which last from 9.30 to 18.00 with a one-hour lunch break and half an hour of recapitulation of the day's lessons. Thursday is dedicated entirely to preparation for the exam and preparations for seminar work.
Each module ends after a written examination has been successfully passed. The day before an examination is entirely dedicated to individual preparations for the exam and group preparations for seminar work. If the candidate does not satisfy the BBS criteria in the written exam, they must pass an oral exam.
The written exam constitutes 50% of the final mark. The final mark consists of:
The exams consist of written test questions based on the contents of lectures given during the modules. Before, after and during the module the participation is monitored and it is an exam requirement. Very poor results in the written exam are usually followed by an oral exam and are conducted early on Friday afternoon. If the candidate’s knowledge is inadequate even in the oral exam, they can repeat the written exam a further three times.
All lectures, seminars and other work are conducted in English.
