Slaven is a member of BBS Board of Advisors.

He was born in Zagreb in the midst of the last century. His parents soon moved to Pula (Istria) and his only clear memories from those times are sailing with his father, playing lousy jazz on clarinet and selling books that nobody wanted.

15 years later he started his student days at the University of Zagreb studying Electrical Engineering, History of Art and Slavic languages and working part-time as a journalist. It lasted for eight great years, but politics was not a joke in Yugoslavia in the 70's, so he moved on to find himself working as a free-lance photographer for Parisian agency Gamma.

A few years and a few war zones later, he bumped into advertising. BBDO was his first love in early 1990's and ever since, he’s still there...
