Žare is a BBS lecturer.

Žare Kerin was born on the 31st of August in Celje, Slovenia. He finished the design school. For one year, he was improving his skills in Switzerland in Studio IMS. He came back to Slovenia in 1985 and until 1990 worked as a free lancer. Between 1990 and 2000 he was Art and creative director in Kompas Design agency. For the last seven years he has been working at Futura DDB as a creative director.

He received more than 200 international and national awards and recognitions: CRESTA, New York Festivals, Creativity, Epica, Golden Drum, European Design Annual, Golden MM, Graphic Biennal Brno, SOF - Slovenian advertising festival, Best Slovenian Book.

He is a member of D&AD.
