2003 – 2008: O.H.I.M. (Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market), Alicante, Spain,Trade Mark Examiner, Trade Marks Department

• drafting of opposition decisions (inter partes decisions);
• drafting of cancellation decisions (inter partes decisions);
• occasional presentations on CTM for candidate countries, trade mark offices outside Europe (Dubai), Slovenian Intellectual Property Office, Slovenian representatives and other interested parties;
• training of the O.H.I.M. staff in the area of opposition proceedings, in particular “Evidence of proof of use”;
• handling and follow-up of Slovenian CTM applications (classification, absolute and  relative grounds of refusal)

• Seminars on trade marks for Slovenian students, for members of other Trade Marks Offices;
• took part in trade marks related meetings in Geneva (WIPO - World Intellectual Property Organization) and Brussels (European Commission);
• chaired the fourth Session of the Committee of Experts of the Vienna Union in Geneva, Switzerland (WIPO);
• chaired the 22nd Preparatory Working Group of the Nice Union in Geneva, Switzerland (WIPO).

1979-1993: Iskra Commerce, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Sales expert, translator for Russian - export of telecommunication equipment mainly to the former USSR as well as European and Asian markets; international exhibitions, in particular in the former USSR.
